About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and PeekaWing (“we”, “us”), based in India. They apply to the PeekaWing app and our website at peekawing.online (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Who can use PeekaWing

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be able to enter into a legally binding agreement.
• You must not have been banned from PeekaWing before.
• You may only have one account, and the information you give us must be true.

Your account

Keep your login details private. You are responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else has accessed it, tell us straight away.

How PeekaWing works

• Each message you send is carried by a virtual pigeon. Messages may take some time to arrive, and that is part of the experience.
• When you are matched with someone new, you both start anonymous. Your identity is only shown when you both choose to reveal.
• You can also add friends you already know and send them messages.

Community rules

To keep PeekaWing kind and safe, you must not:

• harass, bully, threaten or stalk anyone;
• post hateful content that attacks people for their religion, caste, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality;
• send sexually explicit content, or any content that sexualises minors (we report this to the authorities);
• pretend to be someone else, or share another person’s private information without their permission;
• pressure anyone to reveal their identity, or try to find out who an anonymous person is;
• send spam, run scams, ask people for money or advertise products;
• share content that is illegal, misleading, or that infringes someone else’s copyright or trademark;
• use bots, scrape data, or try to hack, copy or disrupt the Service.

Reporting and safety

You can block or report anyone from any chat. Our team reviews reports and may remove content, limit features, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules. We cooperate with law enforcement when required by law.

We do not check every message before it is sent, and we are not responsible for how other users behave. Be careful about sharing personal details, and if you decide to meet someone in person, meet in a public place and tell a friend.

Your content

You own the messages and content you create. By using PeekaWing, you give us permission to store, deliver and display your content as needed to run the Service. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Paid features

• Some features, such as PeekaWing Plus, cost money. The price is shown before you pay and includes applicable taxes.
• Payments are processed by our payment partners, such as Cashfree Payments, the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• Virtual items, such as pigeon looks, have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.
• Cancellations and refunds are covered in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Our brand and app

The PeekaWing name, logo, pigeon designs and app belong to us. You may not copy or use them without our written permission.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app’s settings. We may suspend or delete your account if you break these terms or the law, or if we need to protect other users.

Disclaimers

We work hard to keep PeekaWing running smoothly, but the Service is provided “as is”. We cannot promise it will always be available, error free, or that every message will arrive on time.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, PeekaWing is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the actions of other users. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you posted or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs we face as a result, as far as the law allows.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of India.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and tell you about important changes. If you keep using PeekaWing after the changes take effect, you accept the new terms.

Complaints and contact

For complaints about content or your account, email us. We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days.
